This project aims to strengthen course collaborations, both within Hong Kong and internationally, during the uncertain period of online learning/blended learning. While Lingnan University prides itself on having a high rate of students who go for exchange, current Lingnan University students do not have a lot of opportunities to collaborate with and learn from their peers in Hong Kong and overseas. By using online collaboration tools such as Miro, virtual tours and field work using 3D cameras and virtual reality (VR) technology and setting up international Service-Learning projects for students from Lingnan University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Rutgers New Brunswick, and University of Montpellier to collaborate, this project aims to renew Lingnan students’ international exposure. Through this project, online inter-university collaboration tools will be developed and utilized in courses in collaboration with overseas universities during the 2021 summer semester, followed by more courses in the 1^st semester and 2^nd semester 2021-2022, among them in the course collaboration of CLA9021 with HKUST. These tools (in the form of at least 6 virtual tours, such as remote interviewing with community members in collaboration with overseas community partners, as well as at least 3 workshop outlines and accompanying worksheets) will benefit 100 students in 3 different courses, and will be shared with the wider Lingnan community so that students in courses outside of the scope of this project can also benefit from them.
